OP06 Yellow (Linlin) Deck Profile

Now we focus on OP06 stuff for Big Mom. I don't think the starter deck is too bad, you do drop down a Life until you have 2 or less to trigger Big Mom Leader's effect. But once you do reach down that requirement, you could start swapping the cards for Trigger effects from your hand. Some of the OP06 stuff will actually help this deck, although mainly 2 of the new cards for Yellow build.

The Life

Starting off with the yellow style of the deck, the Life gain cards except Hiyori who swap your cards from hand and Life area just like the Big Mom Leader. 10 drop Big Mom's effect is very simple, on play, if your Leader has Big Mom Pirates type, add 1 card from top of your deck to top of your Life, then, trash the top card of your opponent's Life area. When you play 10 drop Big Mom, you will not be able to use the Leader's effect to swap cards, so you need to find the right timing. Mostly playing this card early instead of late game would be better.

Kiku is a great help to this build as we need low Life to trigger the Leader's effect, but if we are at 0 Life, then we couldn't use the Leader's effect. The effect works on play, if your opponent has 3 or less Life, add 1 card from top of your deck to top of your Life. This effect is a win win situation because she is a 6k beat stick forcing your opponents to use 2k counters from their hand instead of 1k. But if they do KO Kiku, then you gain a Life, either way, this card will frustrate your opponents. The Trigger effect is if your opponent has 3 or less Life, play this card. You will need to be lucky about this effect and hopefully not see this card for your first Life.

OP06 Hiyori is mainly to swap the cards around just like Big Mom Leader since we are running plenty of Trigger Characters in the build. The effect works on play, you may add 1 card from top or bottom of your Life to your hand, add 1 card from your hand to top of your Life area. You don't want to use this effect if you already put a card on top with Big Mom Leader, but you can still choose the bottom cards and hope they are not Trigger effects. Plus she is a 2k counter which will come in handy during the counter step.

7 drop Big Mom works the best if your opponents have cards in their Life area so it forces your opponent to choose some choices. The effect works on play, your opponent chooses either trash the top card from their Life area or you add 1 card from the top of your deck to top of your Life. Just like Kiku, this is a win win situation as both effect will benefit you especially when we are playing an aggressive build, so your opponents trashing their Life will hurt.

Removals

There's not a lot of removal in this build as we only focus on 2 cards. Gedatsu only works on play. KO 1 of your opponent's Characters with a cost equal to or less than the number of your opponent's Life. So during the late game if you draw Gedatsu late and your opponents are a low health, then this effect is pretty much useless. He is more of an early game card unless your opponents can keep recovering their Life. I guess we do have a 6k beat stick even if we do play Gedatsu to the field.

Thunder Bolt is mainly in the deck as it is a replacement of Reject/Impact, although I would rather have Thunder Bolt in the deck because Big Mom Leader needs low health to work. The main effect is you may trash 1 card from top of your Life to KO 1 of your opponent's 5 cost or less Characters. For the Trigger effect, it is pretty much the same as the main effect but without trashing the Life. KO 1 of your opponent's 5 cost or less Characters. So if you don't need the main effect, and you have low health, just place this card in your Life area using Big Mom Leader or Hiyori's effect.

Trigger Characters

There are a few Trigger Characters in this build, but not really a lot as I am mainly focusing on the Trigger effects from the Event cards. Both OP04 Sanji and Satori has the exact same Trigger effect. You may trash 1 card from your hand to play this card. The only difference between these two is that Sanji is a Blocker and Satori has a 2k counter, but the card is a vanilla. Although the 5k power will be enough to swing at most cards.

ST07 Brulee is another Blocker, because we will need defence especially when you want to constantly trigger Big Mom Leader's effect and replace some cards in your Life area with Trigger effect. Brulee's Trigger effect is simple, play this card. You will not need to trash a card from hand unlike Sanji or Satori. But she is only a 1k Blocker, but at least she will stop the attacks.

Sky Island Supports

Now we will talk about the Sky Island engine that I'll be using for this build, simple because, I prefer the Sky Island Counter Event over the Big Mom Pirates, so searching for these cards will be easier. Ohm have two effects, the first effect is a constant power boost if you have low health. If you have 2 or less Life, this Character gains 1k power. This is very easy to do thanks to Big Mom Leader chipping the Life away with her effect. The second effect works on play, look at the top 5 cards of your deck, reveal 1 Holly and add it to your hand. Then, place the rest at the bottom of your deck in any order and play up to 1 Holly from your hand. To get this effect, you definitely need to make sure Holly is in your hand, so even if you with the search effect, we can still play Holly.

Shura is just a searcher, but he is not like your any typical searcher as Shura cost 2 cost to play. The on play effect is look at the top 5 cards of your deck, reveal 1 Sky Island card other than Shura and add it to your hand. Then, place the rest at the bottom of your deck in any order. Shura could also help to search out Holly, so we can play Holly for free using Ohm's effect. Shura also have a trigger effect which is simple play this card.

El Thor is a 1 cost Event Counter. The Counter effect is 1 of your Leader/Characters gain 2k power this battle. Then, if your opponent has 2 or les Life, that card gains an additional 2k power this battle. This means in total, your cards will gain 4k power, very similar to Radical Beam for red. Plus it is a Sky Island card so Shura will be able to search this counter to add to your hand. The Trigger effect is the same as Gedatsu. KO 1 of your opponent's Characters with a cost equal to or less than the number of your opponent's Life. So we do mainly want the Counter effect unless somehow you can KO something with the Trigger effect.

Then lastly we also run the 0 cost Event Counter in the build just in case you used up all your DONs, especially when you are playing 10 drop Big Mom. The Counter effect is you may trash 1 card from your hand, 1 of your Leader/Characters gains 3k power this battle. For the trigger effect, if you have 0 Life, you may add 1 card from top of your deck to top of your Life, then trash 1 card from your hand. Personally I think the Trigger effect is important especially when Big Mom Leader needs Life in order to trigger her effect to swap cards around from our Life and hand.

Deck List

OP06 Big Mom

Explanation

I've decided to use the Sky Island engine because of the Big Mom Leader needing low Life to work and the Sky Island engine can be very aggressive against your opponents with the right cards, plus we have the additional Trigger Characters who can be played from the Life area, allowing us to set up the attacks when it comes to our turn. I do think we need to be very aggressive with this build as we have a danger zone with the Life area. If we get 0 Life, then using the Leader's effect is pointless.

There are actually more cards I want to add, like taking out Satori for Cracker but I think Cracker comes at a risk, but at least he cost 4 to play, whilst Satori is more about hitting the Trigger effect, or keeping him in the hand for 2k Counter. You can also replace Satori for more Blockers, we definitely need Blockers as we want to trigger Big Mom Leader's effect more frequently than letting your opponents hitting the Leader and reducing your Life. Mostly I think 3 Life is the deadline zone where we must use Counters/Blockers in order to start swapping cards from hand and Life area so we can trigger Trigger effects.
