OP07 Black (Lucci) Deck Profile

Now, we've got 2 black Lucci, so I will need to add their set version so people won't get confused in which one I'll be talking about. But for OP07 Lucci, no point adding OP07 since we are talking about this 1 card from the latest set. I do like the effect very much as it's similar to B/U Akainu's Leader effect without the extra trash and draw. There's also plenty of new CP cards we could use, although we won't be using all of the new ones, as the old versions are still better.

Cost Reducers

Honestly, I don't think we would have any trouble reducing your opponent's Characters cost with this much cost reducers in the build. It is as much as Smoker deck, so we could easily KO low cost Characters. OP02 Tsuru only has an simple effect, on play, reduce 1 of your opponent's Characters cost by 2 this turn. A nice 1 drop Character, plus if we don't play her, we can use the 2k counter to defend our cards.

OP03 Issho is nice to have in the build, we don't need 10 drop Kuzan as we are not aiming for 0 cost Characters, but Issho does have a similar effect to 10 drop Kuzan. There are two effects for Issho, the first effect will require you to attach a DON to Issho for the effect to work. Reduce all of your opponent's Characters cost by 3. The second effect works on play, if your opponent have 6 cards in their hand, trash 2 cards from their hand. 6 cards is a lot easier to target than 7, but only during early to mid games, otherwise we will be relying on the first effect to make those Characters easy to KO.

OP03 Kalifa works on play, draw 2 cards and trash 2 cards from your hand. Then, reduce 1 of your opponent's Characters cost by 2 this turn. So not only she is a cost reducer, but we also get a hand filter effect. Just like Tsuru, she also have 2k counter which we could use, and this will be very important as some of the cards need CP type in trash to work.

OP07 Kaku is another 2k counter like Kalifa, but instead of 4k beat stick, we have a 5k beat stick instead, this is great for attacking as we don't need to attach a DON to hit the magic number. The effect works on play, you may place 2 CP type cards from your trash to the bottom of your deck. Reduce 1 of your opponent's Characters cost by 3 this turn. I guess the only downside to this card is that we need to set up the trash in order to use his effect.

ST06 Helmeppo works on play, reduce 1 of your opponent's Characters cost by 3 this turn. This is exactly like OP07 Kaku but without the need of returning CP Characters from the trash, so he will be very helpful if you want instant cost reducing so we could KO your opponent's Characters easily.

Tempest Kick is similar to Great Eruption, however there is a requirement unlike Great Eruption, which is why that card got banned. The main effect is draw 1 card, then if you have 10 or more cards in trash, reduce 1 of your your opponent's Characters cost by 3 this turn. 10 cards is not difficult at all thanks to Lucci who can mill 2 cards per attack, so we can easily set up the trash. The Trigger effect is KO 1 of your opponent's 3 cost or less Characters. This will depends on what your opponent have on the field, but we mainly want the main effect, so we don't really care about the trigger effect too much.

Lastly, I am running the Stage card Enies Lobby, if you can get this Stage on the field, you will be pretty much set. The effect is an activate main, you may rest this Stage, if your Leader is CP type, reduce 1 of your opponent's Character cost by 2 this turn. This is more of a constant cost reducer compare to the rest in this build except Issho. We also have a trigger effect unlike most Stage cards, the trigger effect is play this card, so if we don't see this in our opening hand, we could always rely on our Life area.

Removals

The cost reducers will make way with our removal cards who requires certain cost to work except Stussy. EB01 Brook works on play/when attacking, reduce 1 of your opponent's Characters cost by 1 this turn. Then, KO 1 of your opponent's 0 cost Characters. What I like about Brook is that not only he is a cost reducer, but he can also KO Characters if we can reduce that Character to 0 which shouldn't be too difficult with the amount of cost reducers in the build.

OP03 Kaku only has one simple effect, on play, you may place 2 CP type cards from your trash to the bottom of your deck in any order, KO 1 of your opponent's 3 cost or less Characters. 3 cost or less shouldn't be too difficult to do as we have a lot of cost reducers, it is only about getting a number of CP cards in your trash to trigger Kaku's effect.

OP05 Lucci is better than the other CP Characters who need to return CP cards to the bottom of the deck in order to trigger their effects. Lucci works on play, you may place 3 cards to the bottom of your deck, KO 1 of your opponent's 2 cost or less Characters and 1 of your opponent's 1 cost or less Characters. To make this effect more effective, we would need to rely on OP03 Issho on the field, so we can reduce every of your opponent's Characters cost making the full use of Lucci's removal effects.

OP07 Stussy is a bit different to the rest of the removals we have in the build, the effect works on play, trash 1 of your Characters to KO 1 of your opponent's Characters. We wouldn't need to worry about needing plenty of cost reducers to reduce like a 10 cost Character as we could play Stussy to KO that Character straight away. We do have some low power Character who sole purpose will be their on play effects, so we don't really mind trashing those Characters.

Father & Son

Now we've got the father & son in the build aka the CP support for the deck. Spandine works on play, you may place 3 cards with CP type from your trash to the bottom of your deck in any order to play one 4 cost or less CP Character other than Spandine from your trash rested. He's only effective if we got plenty got plenty of cards in trash as most of our CP Characters also need to return cards from trash to deck in order to use their effect. Of course there are some exceptions like OP03 Kaku and his son Spandam.

OP03 Spandam is a searcher, if your Leader is CP type, look at top 3 card of your deck, reveal 1 CP type card other than Spandam and add it to your hand. Trash the rest. Another mill card will definitely be helpful to trigger some of the CP Characters effects.

Extra Supports

Now the rest of the support for the deck which will come in handy. OP04 Sabo is a Blocker with an on play effect, none of your Characters can be KO'd by effects until the start of your next turn. Then, draw 2 cards and trash 2 cards. This effect will protect your field from your opponent's effects, plus we set up the trash for CP cards to return.

OP05 Rebecca is another Blocker with an on play effect, add one black 3 to 7 cost Character other than Rebecca from your trash to your hand. Then, play one 3 cost or less from your hand rested. Being able to return Characters from the trash will be very handy, and we also can fill up the board like playing Spandine, then we could use Spandine's effect to play another Character all for 4 DONs.

OP06 Moria is an 8 cost Character that will be very helpful in any black builds. The effect works on play, choose one 4 cost or less Character and one 2 cost or less Character from your trash. Play one as active and the other as rest, for the 4 drops, we have plenty of choices to choose from like Rebecca to get Spandine so Spandine can play another Character to fill up the field in one go. For 2 cost or less, we don't really have much choices aside from the searcher Spandam or cost reducers.

Deck List

OP07 Lucci

Explanation

This build is similar to Moria build where we need to mill in order to trigger some cost reducers, more specifically, CP cards. We have to rely on Lucci Leader to mill and Spandam if we can see him in our opening hand to start milling straight away on turn 1. If you can also open up with Enies Lobby in hand, the stage card will be very helpful with the cost reducing. The more cost you reduce, the easier we could KO your opponent's Characters, especially the high cost Character.

For Stussy, you can also run OP07 Sabo instead as Sabo can remove 2 Characters instead of one, but those Characters need to be at a certain cost in order to be removed, Stussy can remove any Characters by trashing your Character which shouldn't be much of a problem. But it is up to you in which one you like to use more as both cards will have their own use in different match ups.
