EB01 Yellow (Linlin) Deck Profile

What we need for this Leader is the ability to have Life gain. If you have Life gain, then we can spam Big Mom Leader's effect. But most of the Life gain cards in this build are very situational which is the downside to this build. So I guess this build will only get better if we can use more Life gain cards, however, that will also means yellow deck will then become more OP than they are already.

Life Gain

We have a few cards that could increase our Life so we could use Big Mom's Leader effect to replace some cards, however, most of these are very situational, so you may not gain a Life playing these cards. EB01 Shirahoshi is a Blocker with an effect, when this Character is KO'd by your opponent's effect, add 1 card from the top of your deck to top of your Life.

10 drop Big Mom is the only card where we can 100% gain Life, however, being a 10 drop means we wouldn't be able to use the Leader's effect to swap cards. The effect works on play, if your Leader has Big Mom Pirates type, add 1 card from top of your deck to top of your Life. Then, trash the top card of your opponent's Life area. I guess the advantage is that we can trash our opponent's Life as well as getting a 12k beat stick on the field ready to attack during the next turn.

Kiku only works on KO, if your opponent has 3 or less Life, add 1 card from top of your deck to top of your Life. This is pretty much a win win situation as she is also a 6k beat stick, so your opponents will need at least 2k counters if they are using 5k Leader. But that is only, if they do not KO Kiku, if they do, you gain a Life, making the situation very difficult. The Trigger effect is if your opponent has 3 or less Life, play this card. This is not difficult to do since we can put Kiku into the Life area using the Leader's effect.

ST07 Big Mom is a card where our opponents get to choose the effect, but either options will be terrible for your opponents so not all is lost. The effect works on play, your opponent chooses one of the following, they either trash the top card in their Life area, or you gain a Life. Gaining a Life will benefit you in this build, but if they decided to trash their Life, then, they will be one step closer to the danger zone.

Trashing Your Own Life Cards

Well, one of these cards add cards from your Life area to your hand instead of trashing. I think this is important as we could trigger the Leader's effect as soon as possible as you only need to reach 3 Life to trigger the effect. EB01 Flampe works on play, you may add 1 card from top or bottom of your Life to your hand to draw 1 card. Basically, you will be getting 2 cards in your hand with Flampe's effect, plus being able to reduce your Life more easily will really help the Leader. Even if you don't need to use Flampe's effect, she also have 2k counter which will work nicely.

Thunder Bolt is a removal. The main effect is you may trash the top card of your Life to KO 1 of your opponent's 5 cost or less Characters. 5 cost or less is a lot of choices to choose from, as a lot of builds will run at least some 5 drop Characters. The only downside is that we need to trash a Life in order to work unlike Flampe who can add card from Life to hand. This is also where the Trigger effect kicks in. The Trigger effect is KO 1 of your opponent's 5 cost or less Characters. This is where Big Mom Leader kicks in if we want to use the Trigger effect as she will able to put Thunder Bolt into the Life area, so we don't need to trash our Life if we want to KO a Character.

Removals

We also got a nice amount of removals to remove your opponent's Characters. OP03 Katakuri works on play, place one 8 cost or less to the top or bottom of the owner's Life area face up. Now you could choose your own Characters if you don't want to choose your opponents, and then we could replace it with a Trigger effect as we would have 2 DONs left for Big Mom Leader's effect. But it is really up to you how you use this card because if you choose your opponents, they will gain a Life unless we play the 2 Big Mom cards in the build to trash that Life card.

Gedatsu works the best if you can play him as soon as possible, because the longer you drag the game, the less effective Gedatsu becomes. The effect works on play, KO 1 of your opponent's Characters with cost equal to or less than your opponent's Life. I guess on the bright side, we do have a 6k beat stick to swing at your opponents with.

OP06 O-Nami is mainly in the build for the Trigger effect, however, her on play effect is not bad since our cards have high power numbers. The on play effect is, 1 of your Leader/Character gains Banish, meaning, if that card hit, they will need to trash their Life instead of adding that card to the hand. It might put some pressure for your opponents, it might not, it really depends on their hand size. The Trigger effect is exactly the same as Thunder Bolt. KO 1 of your opponent's 5 cost or less Characters, and just like Thunder Bolt, we can easily put her into the Life area to trigger this effect.

Sky Island Supports

I've also decided to use the Sky Island package over Big Mom Pirates, as Sky Island will let me spam the board much more easier, going for the final assault instead of setting up the field. Ohm have 2 effects, the first effect is a continuous effect where this Character gains 1k power if you have 2 or less Life. 2 or less Life is very easy to do thanks to our Big Mom Leader. The second effect works on play, look at the top 5 cards of your deck, reveal 1 Holly and add it to your hand. Then, place the rest at the bottom of your deck in any order and play 1 Holly from your hand. Well if you want this effect to be successful, you will need to already have Holly in your hand so you can play her.

Satori is just a plain vanilla with a 2k counter, but because he is Sky Island type, we can easily search him from the deck using Shura's effect. Satori do have a trigger effect which is like some of the yellow Trigger effects we've seen so far. You may trash 1 card from your hand to play this card. This is also why I will never play Satori from my hand as we got ways to put him in the Life area just like the rest of the Trigger cards.

Shura is just a searcher, on play, look at the top 5 cards of your deck, reveal 1 Sky Island card other than Shura and add it to your hand. Then, place the rest at the bottom of your deck in any order. We also have a Trigger effect for Shura which is play this card. So if you are lucky enough, or put him into the Life area, we might be able to get an extra counter from the search effect to use against our opponents.

The yellow 0 cost Event counter. Maybe this is also too read, but I'm definitely not writing the name of that card. It is a Sky Island card, so we could use Shura's effect to search it out ready to use. The counter effect is, you may trash 1 card from your hand, 1 of your Leader/Character gains 3k power during this battle. The Trigger effect is if you have 0 Life, you may add the top card of your deck to top of your Life area. Then, trash 1 card from your hand. I think this effect can be really handy as it will mean your opponent will need 1 more attack to finish you off.

Deck List

EB01 Big Mom

Explanation

This deck does comes with a risk and that is reducing your Life. As long as your Life is reduced, you wouldn't be able to use Big Mom Leader's effect to replace the cards in your Life area with Trigger cards. This is why this build is heavily focus on Life gain cards, but most of them are situational and might not even work. But at least, they will put pressure for your opponents even if they don't work.

The Sky Island package in this build is to make us go aggressive with the deck as we are already reducing our Life, you might as well spam the field with Characters with ease, plus we do get a decent hand size especially if you could make use of Flampe and Shura's effect. But I guess we could say the same for Big Mom Pirates stuff, except with that build, we will have less counters. But you could try running the Big Mom Pirates stuff since the Sky Island cards are easily replaced.
