OP07 Purple (Iceburg) Deck Profile

Iceburg/Water Seven deck is one of the deck that is closest in using the purple cards from OP07, so I've decided to make a small change to the deck. The deck will still be using a lot of EB01 cards as they have been the best support for this build. It is optional to use the OP07 support, you can still keep the deck with EB01 support, since we don't have any new Water Seven stuff for the deck.

Ramp

The more you ramp, the better you could make use of DONs as well as playing high cost Characters. Paulie works on play, by paying 2 DONs, add 1 DON as active. Then, if you have 8 or more DONs, KO 1 of your opponent's 4 cost or less Characters. This is not bad, but you do need to ramp if you want to KO 1 of your opponent's Characters.

OP05 Kid is a 6k Blocker with an effect that works on your turn. When a DON on your field is returned to your DON deck, you may add 1 DON as active. This can help you to reduce the number of DONs you will be returning in a turn, and in return, we may have 1 extra DON to play a high cost Character.

OP07 Chopper is a Blocker with an on play effect, if the number of DONs on your field is equal or less than your opponents, add 1 DON as rest. This is not too difficult to do as we will be returning DONs back to deck, unless your opponents also playing decks that return DONs back to deck.

Galleyla is the main card we want to have in our opening hand, as this Stage card will make everything easier. The effect is an activate main, you may rest this Stage, if your Leader is Iceburg, add 1 DON as rest. So if we do end up returning plenty of DONs back to DON deck, by resting this Stage we can recover. Plus it is our main ramp card compare to the other ramp cards in this build.

Removals

Now for the removals, I am only running these 2 cards. We can spam plenty of Characters, but it will be pointless if we can't get rid of some of your opponent's Characters. ST04 Kaido works on play, by returning 5 DONs, KO 1 of your opponent's 6 cost or less Characters. This Character gains Rush. A very strong  card to have in deck, especially when we can make use of the DONs.

Ragnarok is an Event, I really wish I could run more because of the main effect. By returning 1 DON, KO 1 of your opponent's 8 cost or less Characters. The only cards we can't target are 9 cost or more, but most decks runs at least 8 cost or less Characters we can choose. The trigger effect is add 1 DON as active. This really depends if you need the ramp or not as I am mainly after the main effect of this card.

Blockers

We are running plenty of Blockers as we've got Kid and Chopper, but also Sanji and Queen. The good thing about these is that we could use these Blockers to stop the attack and make way for more Water 7 Characters, so we don't have to replace them if we don't need to. OP07 Sanji has an effect that works in your hand. If the number of DONs on your field is 2 less than your opponents, reduce this card cost in your hand by 3. So we could play Sanji for 3 as a 6k Blocker which is really helpful.

ST04 Queen is a draw power card. The effect works on play, by returning 1 DON, draw 2 cards and trash 1 card from your hand. The draw power can really help especially when we can play multiple Characters for free in one turn, using up the hand quite a bit.

The Draws

ST04 Queen is not the only draw power in the deck as we've also got these 2 Characters. OP03 Kalifa has the same effect as Queen, but instead of a on play effect, she works when attacking. By returning 1 DON, draw 2 cards and trash 1 card from your hand. The downside to Kalifa is that she is a 4k beatstick but in return, we could attack any cards to trigger the when attacking effect to start drawing cards and returning DONs back to deck.

4 drop Reiju has a very specific requirements in order for you to draw cards, but once you've met the requirements, you could get a decent hand size. The effect works on play, if the number of DONs on your field is equal or less than your opponents and you have 5 or less cards in your hand, draw 2 cards. This shouldn't be too difficult to trigger especially on the DON side of things.

Water 7 Supports

Now we got the rest of the Water 7 supports for Iceburg build. EB01 Kalifa works on play, by returning 1 DON, if your Leader is Water 7 type, add two 4 cost or less Characters from your trash. The best thing about this effect is that she doesn't specify that those Characters need to Water 7 to work. We can add any 4 cost or less Characters from the trash which is quite handy.

EB01 Blueno is a Character that enables us to play Water 7 Characters for free, and this is quite handy considering Iceburg only plays Galleyla Characters. The effect works on play, by returning 1 DON, if your Leader is Water 7 type, play one 5 cost or less Water 7 Character from your hand or trash. The best thing about this effect is that we can choose the hand or the trash depending on what cards we have.

Kokoro is a searcher for Water 7. The effect works on play, look at the top 5 cards of your deck, reveal 1 Water 7 card other than Kokoro and add it to your hand. Then, place the rest at the bottom of your deck in any order. She is a nice card to use especially when you need to return a DON back to DON deck for Iceburg's effect and don't want to use your untap DONs.

OP03 Lucci works when attacking, by returning 1 DON, rest 1 of your opponent's 5 cost or less Characters. This is good as we can stop your opponent's Blockers from activating and stopping 1 of your attacks, on top of being a 6k beat stick to swing at your opponents.

Deck List

OP07 Iceburg

Explanation

What I like about this build is the use of DONs. We don't have to constantly play Characters just to return DONs back to the deck, we can also use those DONs to power up the Characters, then return those attached DONs back to deck to use Iceburg or the Characters effect. It is definitely very handy as we are spamming Galleyla Characters with Iceburg's effect filling up the field, and by adding the DONs bonus, we can make those Characters hit decent numbers against your opponent's cards. Of course, it is their choices to use counters or not to stop the attacks.
