| Plenty of cards revealed today, so I will go through them one by one. Most of them are Blockers that have been revealed. Rayleigh in this set is a Roger Pirates, but I kinda expect Roger Pirates in OP08 set, anyway, I do think it's about time we get the Legendary Pirate King crew by now. He's a 5 drop Blocker with an effect similar to Queen, but requires your opponents to have 2 5k beat sticks which might be aim toward more of a mid to late game effect as you need 5k or more power to work. Franky is a bit different, instead of draw and trash, you trash and draw, but returning 2 DONs will be handy, especially when you want to trigger OP07 Sanji's effect. I could use Franky in some of my purple builds along with Queen and Reiju for decent draw power as well as making the use of DONs. Koala is a card I'm looking forward to because I really want to update Betty deck and the new cards from OP07 is aimed toward Dragon. You do take a Life, but in return, we would play more Revolutionary Army Characters for free, plus having a 6k Blocker will be useful, especially for decks like Betty who lack defences abilities. Lastly, we have Adio, 9 drop beat stick, but with the ability to untap your DONs which is very handy, especially when we are playing the full 9 cost to play this card. Not only that, the second effect acts like a Event Counter that powers up your cards during the counter step to strengthen the defences of Odyssey builds. |
