OP07 Blue/Purple (Reiju) Deck Profile

Compare to most OP07 builds aside from new decks, Reiju do have a decent amount of new cards, and because of that, the room is a lot tighter compare to OP06 version where we got plenty of rooms to improve. However, the deck will still mainly be the same where we focus on the Germa 66 and their transformations so we don't have to use a lot of DONs to play high cost Characters.

Germa 66

Lets start with the main cards of the build who let us play Characters for free. Well, it is kinda free but you will need to return 1 DON to trigger their effects. Ichiji's effect is an activate main, by returning 1 DON and trashing this Character. If your Leader is Germa 66 type, play up to one 7 cost Ichiji from your trash or hand. Niji and Reiju will have the exact same effect as Ichiji, except Niji can play 5 cost Niji whilst Reiju will play 4 cost Reiju.

Judge is more of a tech card, because we are returning DONs back to deck, so this might be difficult to play Judge for 8 cost. Judge have 2 effects, the first effect works on play, by returning 1 DON, you may trash 2 cards from your hand to play up to 4 Germa 66 Characters with different card names and 4k power or less from your trash. I am only running 3 as I am not running Yonji in the build, and those 3 cards can transform into their main beat sticks. The second effect is an activate main, by returning 1 DON, rest 1 of your opponent's DONs. This would help to stop some Event Counters from your opponent's hand.

Transformations

Just like any super heroes, they have transformations and wear capes. The only thing I don't get is Sanji, he clearly in his transformation suit, but he is not Vinsmoke or Germa for that card. Ichiji works on play, if the number of DONs is equal or less than your opponents, reduce 1 of your opponent's Characters power by 2k this turn and this Character gains Rush. The power reduction along with the Rush ability will be very handy as we could take out high power Characters with Ichiji.

Niji works on play, if the number of DONs is equal or less than your opponents, choose one of the following, KO 1 of your opponent's 2 cost or less Characters or return 1 of your opponent's 4 cost or less Characters to the owner's hand. I guess on the bright side, we could return your opponent's Blockers, but on the downside is that they will have an extra counter in hand.

Reiju works on play, if the number of DONs is equal or less than your opponents and you have 5 or less cards in hand, draw 2 cards. We can burn through our hand very easily, especially when we managed to use the Germa 66 cards. You will also be using counters very early if you want to play cards from the trash.

Lastly, we've got Sanji in the build. Although if you can't return DONs constantly, then Sanji will be useless. He is a Blocker with an effect that works in your hand. If the number of DONs is at least 2 less than your opponents, reduce this card in your hand by 3. So we will be able to play Sanji for 3 cost instead of paying the full 6 cost for the card.

Vinsmoke/Germa 66 Supports

Now we have the rest of the cards to support Vinsmoke/Germa 66 cards, and this will be the core build of the deck. Sora works on play, you may trash 1 card from your hand, if the number of DONs on your field is equal or less than your opponents, add 1 Vinsmoke Character with 4k power or less from your trash to your hand. This is useful if we want to play any high cost Characters from the trash or hand, as we can recycle their low cost Character thanks to Sora effect.

Germa 66 is the searcher of the deck, unfortunately not a Character card, but no complaining there. The main effect is look at the top 5 cards of your deck, reveal 1 Germa card other than Germa 66 and add it to your hand. Then, place the rest at the bottom of your deck in any order. I guess it is not a Vinsmoke searcher, so we could only search for very specific cards. The trigger effect is just draw 1 card. You might need this, you may not, it really depends on the hand size.

Kingdom of Germa is a searcher as well, but unlike Germa 66, we can use this card more consistently thanks to being a Stage card. The effect is you may trash 1 card from your hand and rest this Stage to look at the top 3 cards of your deck, reveal 1 Germa card and add it to your hand. Then, place the rest at the bottom of your decks in any order. Just like Germa 66, we can only search for Germa cards and not Vinsmoke.

Foxy Pirates

One changes to the deck is that I am using a small portion of Foxy Pirates engine to the deck. OP07 Chopper is a Blocker with an on play effect, if the number of DONs on your field is equal or less than your opponents, add 1 DON as rest. This is just a small ramp, and it is not difficult to get DONs less than your opponents with the amount of cards that can return DONs back to deck.

Porche is one of them, the effect works on play, by returning 1 DON, look at the top 5 cards of your deck, reveal 1 Foxy Pirates card and add it to your hand. Then, place the rest at the bottom of your deck in any order and play 1 purple Character with 4k power or less from your hand. Personally, I don't really care about the search effect. What I am aiming for is the second part of Porche's effect which is playing purple Characters. Our low cost Germa Characters are 4k power or less except Judge, so we could play those cards for free, then set up their transformation to play their big cost from trash or hand.

Blue Supports

I know Reiju is a Blue/Purple Leader, however, the deck is mainly purple based with a splash of blue, but we can't call this purple Reiju as we have 2 blue cards in the deck. Kaya works on play, draw 2 cards and trash 2 cards from your hand. She is one of the options for your turn 1 play so we could get the cards we need as well as setting up the trash.

OP06 Pudding works on play, your opponent returns all cards in their hand to deck and shuffles their deck. Then your opponent draws 5 cards. Pudding is still amazing, and since we have some draw power, we can easily get this card in your hand and prevent your opponents from getting a massive hand size with their search and draw effects. It will also makes it easier for our attacks to hit as they would have less counters in their hand.

Deck List

OP07 Reiju

Explanation

A very straightforward build, I've kept the core build mainly the same with the OP06 cards. We will be doing the same thing where we focus on their transformations by playing their low cost version in order to play those Characters for free. Well those cards does cost you a DON by returning the DON back to DON deck, but this will trigger Reiju Leader's effect to help you draw a card. We maybe able to use counters early to set up the trash, so we don't need to play the transformations Characters from hand except Sanji.
