OP07 Black (Lucci (OP03)) Deck Profile

Looks like we have our first deck where I need to put the set number next to the Leader since we've got 2 the same Leader from the same colours. I don't expect much people looking for this build, since they would definitely prefer OP07 Lucci, but OP03 Lucci is definitely not bad at all when it comes to being aggressive. But of course, we wouldn't spam Lucci's effect unlike the OP07 version, otherwise we would struggle to use counters.

Cost Reducer

We have a large amount of cost reducers in this build so we could remove your opponent's Characters with ease. OP02 Tsuru has a simple on play effect which reduce 1 of your opponent's Character cost by 2 this turn. A nice quick 1 cost if we need to reduce a Character to a low number.

OP03 Issho have 2 effects, the first effect only works if you attached a DON onto Issho. Reduce all of your opponent's Character cost by 3. Now this effect is very good since we won't need to worry about the on play effects, and wait for certain timing to play those cards. Issho can reduce the entire field which helps very much with certain cards. The second effect works on play, if your opponents have 6 or more cards in their hand, trash 2 cards from their hand. This is better than ST10 Law, but he does cost 8 to play unlike Law.

OP03 Kalifa is a CP Character which is why I am running her in the build in order to trigger certain card effects. She only works on play, draw 2 cards and trash 2 cards from your hand, then, reduce 1 of your opponent's Character cost by 2 this turn. Now for 4 cost, it might not be worth the cost, but we get to filter out our hand to find certain cards we need for this deck and also build up the trash.

ST06 Helmeppo is very similar to OP02 Tsuru as both cards works on play. reduce 1 of your opponent's Character cost by 3 this turn. The only difference between these 2 cards is that Helmeppo can reduce 1 extra cost compare to Tsuru, but doesn't have 2k counter. But I guess there we be situations where would prefer to play Helmeppo over Tsuru.

Tempest Kick is similar to Great Eruption, however, in order to reduce your opponent's Characters, we need to set up the trash. The main effect is draw 1 card, then if you have 10 or more cards in your trash, reduce 1 of your opponent's Characters cost by 3 this turn. The trigger effect is KO 1 of your opponent's 3 cost or less Characters. I doubt we need to use the trigger effect as I personally prefer to use Tempest Kick's main effect if I managed to fill all the requirements to use the full effect.

Lastly I am running the Stage card Enies Lobby. The effect is an activate main, you may rest this Stage, if your Leader includes CP type, reduce 1 of your opponent's Characters cost by 2 this turn. If you can get Enies Lobby on the field, we could constantly reduce 1 of your opponent's Characters once per turn. The trigger effect is play this card. This is also great if we don't draw Enies Lobby, but hit this card in the Life area instead.

Removals

I'm not running a lot of removals as we can easily trigger Lucci Leader's effect by attacking your opponent's Characters and KOing them. But these cards can definitely help by saving the need to attack your opponent's Characters to trigger Lucci Leader's effect. EB01 Brook works on play/when attacking, reduce 1 of your opponent's Characters cost by 1 this turn. Then, KO 1 of your opponent's 0 cost Characters. I don't think getting your opponents down to 0 will be that difficult as we have plenty of cost reducers in the build.

OP03 Kaku works on play, you may place 2 cards with type including CP from your trash to the bottom of your deck in any order. KO 1 of your opponent's 3 cost or less Character. He's very handy as getting your opponent's Characters cost down to 3 is not difficult at all in this build compare to Brook who needs 0 cost.

OP05 Lucci works the best if we have Issho on the field as Issho will help to reduce all of your opponent's Characters cost. Lucci works on play, you may place 3 cards from your trash to the bottom of your deck, KO 1 of your opponent's 2 cost or less Characters and one 1 cost or less Characters. You do need low numbers, but we will be able to KO 2 Characters in one go.

Free Play

We have 2 cards in this build who can let us play Characters for free. OP06 Moria works on play, choose one 4 cost or less Character and one 2 cost or less Character from your trash. Play one as active and the other at rest. We would be able to play 3 Characters in one turn thanks to Moria, and we have plenty of 4 cost or less we can choose from that we could put their on play effects into use.

Air Door's main effect is if your Leader includes CP type, look at the top 5 cards of your deck, play one 5 cost or less CP type Character among them. Trash the rest. Sending the rest of the cards into the trash won't matter too as we need to make use of the trash in this build. So the more cards you can send to trash the better. The trigger effect is play one 3 cost or less black Character from your trash. Now this will depends on what you need as we have a lot of choices when it comes to 3 or less.

Blockers

We do have some sort of defence in this build and that is these 2 Blockers. Fukurou is a 3 drop Blocker, so he will work very well with Air Door's trigger effect. But he also have a main effect which is this Character cannot be KO'd by effects, reducing your opponents options when it comes to KO effects.

OP04 Sabo has an on play effect which is none of your Characters can be KO'd by effects until the start of your next turn. Then, draw 2 cards and trash 2 cards from your hand. Whilst Fukurou only protects himself, Sabo can protect your field, especially when you are going for the attacks, we won't need to worry about trigger effects that could KO your Characters.

CP Supports

Now we've got the rest of for CP stuff. Spandine works on play, you may place 3 cards with type including CP from your trash to bottom of your deck in any order. Play one 4 cost or less Character with type including CP other than Spandine from your trash rested. We do play Characters at rest, so the only one we don't want to play is Fukurou, but other CP Characters will be fine as they are mostly on play effects.

OP03 Spandam is a searcher, but I don't think he is an actual searcher for CP deck as he only looks at the top 3 instead of top 5 cards of your deck. The effect works on play, if your Leader includes CP type, look at the top 3 cards of your deck, reveal 1 card with type including CP other than Spandam and add it to your hand. Then, trash the rest of the cards. Spandam is another card that will help you build up the trash so you can return cards back to the bottom of the deck.

Lastly, we've got Hattori, Hattori's effect works on play, but on your turn only, I guess Bandai didn't want Hattori to work with Air Door's Trigger effect. The effect is 1 of your Lucci cards gains 2k power for the turn. Our main aim is to target Lucci Leader rather than OP05 Lucci, so we don't need to use as much DONs when we are preparing to untap Lucci Leader and attack again. But that is only if you are going for the multi attacking, since Lucci Leader will cost you 2 cards from your hand, so it will all about the timing of the card.

Deck List

OP07 Lucci

Explanation

The timing of using Lucci Leader effect will be important as if we use it too early, we could run out of cards easily, but too late, then we will lose the game. You will need to find the right balance for that Leader. We play the rest of the deck as any normal black decks where we focus on reducing your opponent's Characters cost and KOing those Characters, so your opponents will need to constantly refill their field, using up the DONs and preparing for attacks, unless those Characters have Rush.

I have kept the build similar to OP07 Lucci build, however, you can completely change the engine if you want. The closest will be the Navy engine we could run instead of CP stuff. Navy have plenty of cost reducers, so we could constantly KO those Characters and wait to use Lucci Leader's effect to go for the final push for game, whereas this CP engine is more about setting up the trash in order to use certain card effects.
