EB01 Blue/Black (Rebecca) Deck Profile

Personally, I think Rebecca works without Scarlet, honestly, I wish they released more than just Scarlet for Dressrosa stuff, as 1 card doesn't help this build, especially when Scarlet only targets specific cost. But it's up to you if you want to run Scarlet or not in the build, as the OP06 stuff will be enough to get the deck working. However, I didn't have time to post this build for OP06 set, so I'm just using EB01 as an excuse to post this.

Cost Reducers

The build doesn't run as many cost reducers compare to before as we are mainly focused on attacking your opponent's Characters instead. Suleiman works on play/when attacking, if your Leader is Dressrosa type, reduce 1 of your opponent's Characters cost by 2 this turn. Then, mill 1 card. The only downside is that he is a 4k beat stick, but in return, we will be able to reduce your opponent's Characters and mill a card to set up the trash.

Toy Soldier's effect is an activate main, you may trash this Character to reduce 1 of your opponent's Characters cost by 3 this turn. This is very simple and 3 is a nice number especially when our removals target specific Character's cost in order to remove them from the field.

Attacking Characters

Instead of removals, this deck focus on attacking your opponent's active Characters, so whatever they play, their Characters will not be safe against these cards. Gyats's effect is very simple, on play, 1 of your Dressrosa Characters can also attack your opponent's active Characters this turn. Unfortunately, he only works with Dressrosa Characters, but we do have plenty of beat sticks to choose from with this effect.

Bounce man Luffy can also attack your opponent's active Characters as part of his effect. The other effect is an activate main, once per turn, you may return 7 cards from your trash in any order to untap this Character. Then, this Character will not become active in your next Refresh Phase. There is a way to get around the freeze requirement and that is to not attack the second time with Luffy after using this effect. We do want Luffy to stay active so he won't be an attack target for your opponents. The only use for the second attack is that we are going for game, so the freeze requirements will not matter. But that's only if you know you could risk doing a second attack on that turn.

Coliseum is a card we want in our opening hand, or search this Stage as soon as possible because of the effect. The effect is if your Leader is Dressrosa type, your Dressrosa Characters can attack Characters on the turn they are played. This is like a restrictive Rush which is why we would need Gyats and Bounce man Luffy as those cards lets you attack active Characters straight away if Coliseum is on the field.

Free Play

We have 3 different Characters that enable us to play Characters for free whether its from hand or from the trash. EB01 Scarlet has an activate main effect where you trash this card, play one 3 cost or less Dressrosa Character from your hand other than Scarlet at rest. Then, reduce 1 of your opponent's Characters cost by 2 this turn. So not only we get to play a card for free from our hand, but we can reduce your opponent's Characters cost. Only downside is that, that Character will be rested, so you won't be able to attack your opponent's Characters on that turn.

OP05 Rebecca is a Blocker with an on play effect, add one 3-7 cost black Character other than Rebecca from your trash to your hand. Then, play one 3 cost or less black Character from your hand rested. This is pretty much the same as Scarlet, but at least we get to recycle the trash and add the Characters we need instead of waiting for the right card in hand to use the effect.

OP06 Moria works on play, choose one 4 cost or less Character and one 2 cost or less Character from your trash. Play 1 as active and the other as rest. The only problem I find with Moria is that he is an 8 cost Character, so if we managed to mill him, we won't be able to add him back to hand with Rebecca's effect. Although that may be broken if we can recycle Moria. Another problem is that he is not Dressrosa, so the cards will not work with him, but I guess we can fill up the board in one go for 8 DONs.

Removals

Not much removals, but one of these cards doesn't target the field anyway. Kyros have 2 different effects, the first effect is a continuous effect, if this Character would be KO'd, you may rest 1 of your Leader or Corrida Colisium cards. So we can protect Kyros from being KO'd twice in 1 turn, this is very handy as Kyros is a 5k beat stick and we do lack beat sticks in this build. The second effect works on play, KO 1 of your opponent's 1 cost or less Characters. Then, mill 1 card. In order to KO 1 or less Characters, we would need to rely on cost reducers and that shouldn't be too difficult.

OP06 Pudding is a different type of removal as we focus on targeting your opponent's hand instead of the field. On play, your opponent returns all cards from their hand to their deck and shuffles their deck. Then, your opponent draw 5 cards. We won't be doing much attacking because the Leader can't attack and we have low power Characters who could attack your opponent's Leader, so it means they would have plenty of cards in their hand, and Pudding will be able to renew your opponent's hand losing all the efforts they've been doing with search effects.

Raging Tiger works the best with cost reducers because of the main effect. Place two 6 cost or less Characters to the bottom of the owner's deck. Now we can choose high cost Characters if we use cost reducers to reduce those high cost Characters down to 6 to remove them from the field. The Trigger effect is place one 5 cost or less to the bottom of the owner's deck. Not too bad as we could stop your opponent's attacks.

Searchers

We have two different type of searching in this build, one who searches the deck, whilst the other who searches the trash. OP04 Rebecca works on play, look at the top 5 cards of your deck, reveal 1 Dressrosa card other than Rebecca and add it to your hand. Then, trash the rest. The only downside to this effect is that we can't look for OP05 Rebecca who is one of our key cards in this build, we will need to rely on the Leader's effect to search for OP05 Rebecca, whilst OP04 Rebecca will search for the rest of the cards.

Mansherry is an activate main effect, by paying 1 DON and resting this card, add one 3-5 cost black Character from your trash to your hand. Mansherry will help to recycle OP05 Rebecca as OP05 Rebecca is a 4 drop, then Rebecca would be able to recycle 5 cost or more from your trash, so you would be doing plenty of recycles with these 2 cards. Only downside is that we need to rest Mansherry, so if you don't get rid of your opponent's Characters, she can easily be an attack target for your opponents.

Blockers

Now we are running the rest of the Blocker cards, one of them is just a vanilla Blocker which is Bartolomeo so I won't be able to talk about much. OP04 Sabo works on play, none of your Characters can be KO'd by effects until the start of your next turn. Then, draw 2 cards and trash 2 cards from your hand. This draw effect is just a hand filter, but at the same time we could build up the trash, but most importantly, he protect all your Characters from KO effects so you won't need to worry much about some of the removal effects.

Riku is a Blocker that works on play/on KO, 1 of your Dressrosa Character gains 2k power this turn. He will allow our Dressrosa Characters to hit magic numbers when you attack your opponent's Characters whether they are active or rested. Well, for the on KO effect, you could choose one of your Blockers like Sabo so he won't be KO'd easily during the battle as he will become an 8k Blocker to stop your opponent's attacks.

Deck List

EB01 Rebecca

Explanation

To be honest, you can easily replace EB01 Scarlet for 10 drop Kuzan or adding more Suleiman as Suleiman's effect can be a constant cost reducer on top of being a Dressrosa Character to search him out from the deck. Personally I don't think Scarlet provide any support for Rebecca, maybe in future if we get more Dressrosa stuff, but not right now, that is why it is optional to run Scarlet in the build.

You definitely need Corrida Coliseum in your opening hand, and if you don't you will need OP04 Rebecca as well as Rebecca Leader to search for the stage card. Corrida Coliseum is a card that enables your Dressrosa Characters to start attacking your opponent's Characters straight away when they are played. So like a restrictive Rush, but we want to remove your opponent's Characters so they won't be able to attack you a lot. You also wants to use counters early as you need 6 or less cards in hand to trigger Rebecca Leader's effect.
