OP07 Red/Purple (Uta) Deck Profile

I literally forgotten all about Uta as we've got new FILM stuff in OP07 set. You won't need to use all of the new stuff, just 1 or 2 new cards could help the deck. Although it will still be all about the old cards who can make the deck works, unless Bandai will make more FILM supports for this colour. There are still many missing pieces.

Power Reducers

The two power reducers along with Uta Leader to reduce your opponent's Characters power so we can KO those Characters easily, or forces your opponents to use more counters from their hand. Both of these cards are FILM cards so we can search these out using the search effects. Both Max and Promo Gordon have the exact same effect. You may place this Character to the bottom of the owner's deck to reduce 1 of your opponent's Characters by 3k this turn.

Removals

Now we've got the 2 removals in the build that works the best with power reducers if you want to remove most Characters. OP06 Shanks works on play, KO 1 of your opponent's 10k power or less Characters. 10k power is a lot, and if we combine this with our power reducers, we could literally KO any Characters we want on top of being a 12k beat stick.

Blue Dragon is similar to Jet Pistol but weaker, although we have power reducers so the main effect won't matter too much. The main effect is KO 1 of your opponent's 5k or less Characters. Again, just like Shanks, this shouldn't be too difficult to do with the help of power reducers. The trigger effect is KO 1 of your opponent's 4k or less Characters. This effect is why I think Jet Pistol would be better, but since Blue Dragon is a FILM card, it does mean we can search it out from deck easily.

Power

Now for the power cards, 2 of them gains power by themselves whilst the other give power to your other Characters. To trigger Saga's effect, you need to attach a DON onto him for the effect to work. The effect works when attacking, this Character gains 1k power until the start of your next turn. Then, trash 1 of your FILM Characters at the end of this turn. The good thing about this effect is that it can last until the end of your opponent's turn, and of course, we would have plenty of FILM Characters we can sacrifice.

Shuraiya on the other hand is a Blocker with a when attacking/on block effect. Once per turn, this Character becomes the same power as your opponent's Leader until the start of your next turn. So the more your opponents power up their Leaders, more power you can give to Shuraiya as a Blocker.

Then, the final card that gives power to your other cards instead of powering themselves, OP07 Baccarat. Just like Shuraiya, she is also a Blocker. The effect works during your opponent's attacks. Once per turn, you may trash 1 card from your hand to give 1 of your Leader or Characters 2k power for that battle. Yes it is only once per turn, but that one power bonus could help you survive against 1 of your opponent's attacks.

Searchers

Now we have the searchers to search out the FILM cards. OP06 Luffy works on play, look at the top 3 cards of your deck, reveal 1 FILM card and add it to your hand. Then, place the rest at the bottom of your deck in any order. I guess we can search for any cards thanks to Luffy's on play effect. The trigger effect is activate this card's main effect, so we can get a free search effect to increase our hand size.

OP06 Tesoro is a different type of searchers, instead of searching your deck, you will be searching your trash instead. The effect works on play, by returning 1 DON, if your Leader is FILM type, return up to two 4 cost or less FILM Characters from your trash to your hand. We will be doing plenty of discarding thanks to Uta's effect, so having Tesoro means we could get those cards back to hand.

Lastly, we've got the standard FILM searcher Festa. Festa works on play, look at the top 5 cards of your deck, reveal up to 1 FILM card other than Festa and add it to your hand. Then, place the rest at the bottom of your deck in any order. Unlike OP06 Luffy who can search for any FILM card, we won't be able to search for Festa. However, we could use Saga's effect to trash Festa, so we won't need to replace Festa with another Character.

Draw

Now we've got the 2 draw power cards to increase our hand size. ST04 Queen is a Blocker with an on play effect. By returning 1 DON, draw 2 cards and trash 1 card from your hand. You do gain 1 card in your hand, and you will have a Blocker on the field to stop any of your opponent's attacks.

On the other hand ST05 Tesoro is a major draw power card. The effect works when attacking, by returning 2 DONs, draw 2 cards. Personally I don't think returning DONs will matter if you have the ramp to get the DONs back up. You do have cards like Uta and Ain who can help you ramp if you have low DONs.

FILM Supports

For the rest of the FILM supports, it is very simple, we have OP06 Shiki who is also a Blocker, but the on play effect is more of a hand filter rather than draw power. The effect is by if you have 8 or more DONs, draw 1 card and trash 1 card from your hand. You can play Shiki early as he only cost 2 to play if you want to stop any attacks.

Ain is just a ramp card, the only ramp in the deck, but if you want more ramp, I guess you can replace Shiki with one of the ramp cards, so we could play our big drops a lot faster than relying on Uta's effect. Because, don't forget, we can use Uta's effect once per turn to ramp, whilst cards like Ain need another copy if we want to ramp again. The on play effect is add 1 DON as rest.

OP07 Uta

Explanation

I am running mostly FILM cards with the exception of Queen. This way we could trash the cards for Uta's effect as well as searching those cards. You also want to stall and ramp to bring out the big drop Shanks. If you can get Max or Gordon, you would be able to KO a lot of Characters as Shanks can KO 10k power or less Characters. So if they are at least 13k power, we can use one of those cards effect to reduce their Character and KO them whilst we also have a 12k beat stick on the field, since this build doesn't really have a finisher outside Shanks, which is why I am running 4 copies of in the deck.
