| Looks like we got the four emperors manga art as well as Gold Roger. I think its about time that they made Roger as he is the pirate king. I think it will be pointless if we have One Piece card game without the pirate king himself, because after all, he is the one discovered One Piece. Roger's effect is like a instant win con if any of us have 0 Life and your opponents want to use Blockers. I could use Roger in a Rush build, which I think its possible with a lot of Rush cards available for Red. Out of the four emperors revealed, I've only talked about Shanks, the rest, we haven't seen before except from leaked images. Blackbeard is very strong, not only he negates Leader effect, but your opponent's Characters too, on top of the Leader effect who stops on play effects. I do think Blackbeard Pirates might dominate the meta for a while, unless I'm overexaggerating things. Buggy is very random, well I guess you need to play high cost Characters, so for me, playing high cost in Blue will be very slow. Well, I guess we've got Queen who is also a high cost build, so I guess I will need to run plenty of Blockers to stall as much as possible, so we've got enough DONs to play high cost Characters, so we can use Buggy effect without sacrificing him. Lastly, we've got Luffy, another 9 drop Rush Character, but with draw power compare to Kaido who can KO Characters. Maybe, I'll run both in Kaido build, as they both return DONs which is good to trigger some of the cards in that build. |
