OP07 Red/Green (Law) Deck Profile

RG Law is back again with the new Supernovas supports in OP07, however, just like most old Leaders, we won't be using a lot of the new cards as the base of the deck is very strong. However, I still want to focus on the same aggressiveness for this build as we are able to do plenty of multi attacks thanks to the Supernovas cards working together.

Searchers

I am running 4 different searchers in this build, so if you can successfully hit the effects, you can gain a decent hand size which is what we need in this build. OP01 Nami works on play, look at the top 5 cards of your deck, reveal 1 Straw Hat card other than Nami and add it to your hand. Then, place the rest at the bottom of your deck in any order. We are running plenty of Straw Hats so playing her for your turn 1 play is the best move.

OP02 Dadan is a different type of searcher for this build. The effect works on play, look at the top 5 cards of your deck, reveal 1 red 1 cost Character and add it to your hand. Then, place the rest at the bottom of your deck in any order. Unfortunately, we can only look for red 1 cost cards, but we are running plenty of those in the build so we can set up Law Leader's effect easily.

ST02 Bonney is an activate main effect. By paying 1 DON and resting this Character, look at the top 5 cards of your deck, reveal 1 Supernova card and add it to your hand. Then, place the rest at the bottom of your deck in any order. There are a large number of Supernovas in this build we can search for, but I don't think its as much as Straw Hats in this build.

More Pizza is another searcher and the main effect is look at the top 5 cards of your deck, reveal 1 Supernova card other than More Pizza. Then, place the rest at the bottom of your deck in any order. Quite handy if you desperately need certain cards from the Supernovas side of the build. The trigger effect is draw 1 card. The draw also helps as we are running low cost Characters, so we can burn up a lot of cards in our hand, especially when your opponents decided to attack your Characters so you can't use Law Leader's effect.

Untapping

Now we move on to the cards who focus on untapping stuff. EB01 Cavendish works on play/when attacking, if your Leader is Supernova type and you have no other Cavendish, untap 2 of your DONs. Untapping 2 DONs will be very handy, because that is the exact same number to pay for Law Leader's effect to play a 5 cost Character from your hand.

ST02 Law only works on play, untap 1 of your 5 cost or less Supernovas or Heart Pirates Characters. Thanks to this effect, we could make some of our Characters do a second attack on the same turn. Works especially well with Cavendish as we would be able to untap 4 DONs altogether, giving your plenty of room to play more cards from your hand.

OP06 Zoro is more of a back up plan because this deck weakness is getting Characters to the field to work, but your opponents can easily stop this build by constantly wiping your Characters, so you wouldn't be able to use Law's effect at all. Zoro have two effects, the first effect works when attacking, by paying 1 DON untap this Character. The second effect is an activate main effect, by paying 2 DONs untap this Character. So you could easily do 3 attacks with Zoro to finish off your opponents.

Power Reducers

We don't have much power reducers, but these cards can work very well to reduce your opponent's Characters power so we could attack those Characters. EB01 Chopper is a Blocker with a when attacking effect. However, you will need to attach 2 DONs for the effect to work. Reduce 1 of your opponent's Characters power by 3k this turn. This is not bad, at least it means Chopper will become a 6k beat stick.

OP01 Otama is very simple, the effect works on play, reduce 1 of your opponent's Characters by 2k. Otama is all about timing as we don't want to play her early if we got nothing to reduce, whereas Chopper can still be acts as a Blocker even if we don't use his effect. On the bright side I guess we have 2k counter we can use during the counter step.

Straw Hat Supports

Now we've got the Straw Hats, but the Characters have very simple effects, so they will be hard to expand like ST01 Chopper for example who is a Blocker and nothing else. I guess he is a 1 drop Blocker so we can fill the board quickly. Another 1 drop Character we can talk about is OP05 Robin who works on play, KO 1 of your opponent's 1k or less power. 1k or less will be very difficult unless we use our power reducers to reduce your opponent's Characters power.

ST01 Brook is very handy in the build as some of our Characters need DONs to trigger their effects. The effect works on play, give 2 of your rested DONs to 1 of your Leader or Characters. Well Brook cost 2 DONs in the first place, so we could use the DONs to power up some of your cards.

Radical Beam is an Event Counter, the counter effect is 1 of your Leader or Character gains 2k power this battle. Then, if you have 2 or less Life, that card gains another 2k power, making the grand total of 4k power in total. This card is best when you have 2 or less Life, and we start with 4 Life at the start because of multicoloured Leader, so it will be very handy to use. The Trigger effect is 1 of your Leader or Character gains 1k power this turn. This power up bonus last for 1 turn, so it will be up to you if you need this or not.

Supernovas Characters

Now, we got the rest of the Supernovas Characters, I know there's not much variety, but these are enough to help the deck. OP01 Zoro only has Rush, no need to explain much whereas OP01 Law is a Blocker with an on play effect. The on play effect is, you may return 1 Character to your hand to play one 3 cost or less Character from your hand. What we can do with OP01 Law is return Zoro and then play Zoro again so he comes in untap, plus the Rush effect will means we will able to attack against.

OP07 Luffy basically has a protection effect where if you have 3 or more Characters, your 3 cost or less other than Luffy cannot be KO'd by your opponent's effects. I personally think this is important especially when Law Leader needs Characters on the field to work, and we are running a bunch of low cost Characters, so playing OP07 Luffy will reduce your opponents options to KO.

Lastly ST01 Luffy who also have Rush, so we can attack straight away as soon as he is hit on the field, works especially well with Law Leader. But Luffy also has a when attacking effect, however you need to attach him 2 DONs to work. Your opponent cannot activate Blockers during this battle. Personally, this kind of build is an aggressive build, so being able to stop your opponent's Blockers means we will be able to finish off your opponents.

Deck List

OP07 Law

Explanation

As you know, this build needs to fill up the 5 Character slot, so we can use Law Leader's effect to replace those Characters with 5 cost or less Characters, whether to reuse their on play effects, or to create another attacks. Both Law in this build will be able to set up for attacks, and OP01 Zoro will be one of your key card as both Law will be able to make use of Zoro Rush ability to constantly attack your opponents forcing Blockers or counters from their hand.

But as you know, this deck weakness is lack of Characters present, which is why I am also running OP06 Zoro as a back up plan since OP06 Zoro can attack up to 3 times, so we won't be needing any board presence for that 1 card. I am only running 1 copy, but to be honest, 1 copy is enough because if you got the field to trigger Law Leader's effect, then you won't be playing OP06 Zoro any time soon.
