OP07 Red (Ace) Deck Profile

We got 2 cards that can support Ace deck in OP07 set, but it is up to you if you want to run them or not as we want to keep the room for the Whitebeard Pirates stuff as the base of the deck. Although, because Ace focus more on Events, we do lack the room to fit all the cards we want to add into this build.

Rush

Starting off with the Rush Characters. Now the Rush Characters are a bit different as I am not running ST01 Luffy. 2 of these cards on gains Rush via the effect and doesn't have the Rush ability itself. For Jozu's effect to work, you will need to attach a DON onto Jozu, if you have 2 or less Life and your Leader includes Whitebeard Pirates type, this Character gains Rush, so we can attack straight away, but only if we have low health.

OP02 Ace works on play, reduce 2 of your opponent's Characters power by 3k this turn. Then, if your Leader includes Whitebeard Pirates type, this Character gains Rush. So the Rush ability is similar to Jozu where you need Whitebeard Pirates to work. But the power reducing will come in handy, especially when your opponents have major beat sticks, and we can reduce that power to attack into them with cards like Ace.

Dragon on the other hand have the Rush ability with an on play effect. Attach up to 2 rested DONs to 1 of your Leader or 1 of your Characters. I mean having DONs attaching to your cards will help especially Ace Leader's effect where we can also discard Events for more power. Dragon is also a 9k beat stick which is not bad for an 8 drop Character.

Reducing Power

If we include OP02 Ace, we've got 3 cards in total who can reduce your opponent's Characters power. Is it enough? Who knows, but if we have too many in hand, then we won't be able to use them without your opponents playing high power Characters. OP01 Otama works on play, reduce 1 of your opponent's Characters power by 2k this turn. 2k is not a lot, but you might be able to reach the magic number to remove your opponent's cards.

Cross Fire is an Event that can work as a main or counter. If your Leader includes Whitebeard Pirates, reduce 1 of your opponent's Characters by 4k this turn. Now 4k is a lot of power, but because we can use this as a main effect or during the counter step, it will come in handy when it comes to stopping your opponent's Characters. The trigger effect is activate this card's main effect.

Removals

Now for the removals that works very well with the power reducers. OP03 Marco have 2 effects, the first effect works on play, but on your turn, KO 1 of opponents 3k power or less Characters. The second effect works on KO, you may trash 1 Event from your hand to play this card from your trash as rest. We are running plenty of Events, so we can easily trigger this effect to bring back Marco on the field.

OP03 Fire Fist as we have got OP05 Fire Fist too, both very different as this one is for Whitebeard Pirates. The main effect is you may trash 1 Event from your hand to KO up to 1 of your opponent's 5k power or less and one 4k power or less Characters. 5k shouldn't be difficult as people main cards are 5k beat sticks, so we only need to focus on power reducing for the other Character so we can KO both cards. The trigger effect is KO 1 of your opponent's 5k power or less.

Jet Pistol is very strong with the power reducers. The main effect is KO 1 of your opponent's 6k power or less. This shouldn't be too difficult, but we could also target your opponent's high power Characters. The trigger effect is just activate this card's main effect.

Power

The 2 cards that can give power bonus to your Leader, but at the same time, they are also removal cards. Whitebeard have 2 effects, the first effect works on play, 1 of your Leader gains 2k power until the start of your next turn. Then, you cannot add Life cards with your own effect this turn. We don't care about the second part of the effect as we don't have any cards who can trash our Life, just the power up bonus would do. The second effect will need you to attach 2 DONs to Whitebeard to work. When attacking, KO 1 of your opponent's 3k power or less Characters. This would work the best with the power reducers so we can KO Characters easier.

Flame Emperor is mainly a removal card, but we do have power bonus which is why I put this card with Whitebeard for the power section. The main effect is if your Leader is Ace, KO 1 of your opponent's 8k power or less Characters and your Leader gains Double Attack and 3k power. For 7 DONs, we are pretty much going all in as we don't really have enough DONs to play other cards, but more importantly is that we can remove 8k power or less Characters, so we can target high power Characters. The trigger effect is KO 1 of your opponent's 6k power or less Characters just like Jet Pistol.

Searchers

I am also running plenty of searchers to search for the cards you need. OP03 Izo works on play, look at the top 5 cards of your deck, reveal 1 card including Whitebeard Pirates other than Izo and add it to your hand. Then, place the rest at the bottom of  your deck in any order. This is very standard.

OP07 Deuce as I've realized that there's is a OP02 version of this card also works on play. If your Leader is Ace, look at the top 5 cards of your deck, reveal 1 Ace or red Event and add it to your hand. Then, place the rest at the bottom of your deck in any order. The only downside is that we can only search for Ace, but we can search for any red Event cards as we are running plenty in the deck.

Lastly, the Event Whitebeard Pirates, the final searcher for the deck. The effect is look at the top 5 cards of your deck, reveal 1 Character card with type including Whitebeard Pirates and add it to your hand. Then, place the rest at the bottom of your deck in any order. We can only search for Character cards, but it is what we need as we are running low number of Characters since Ace build uses a lot of Events. The trigger effect is activate this card's main effect.

Defences

The defences of the deck to protect our Leader from getting hit. OP02 Marco is a Blocker with an on KO effect. You may trash 1 card with type including Whitebeard Pirates from your hand. If you have 2 or less Life, play this Character from your trash rested. If you want to revive Marco, you will need to block the last attack, so you don't need to constantly revive Marco.

Another card that requires low Life to work is Radical Beam, but it is better to get low Life so we can use the full effect. The counter effect is 1 of your Leader or Character gains 2k power this battle. Then, if you have 2 or less Life, that card gains an additional 2k power making the total 4k power. The trigger effect is 1 of your Leader or Character gains 1k power this turn. You can use this effect so you won't need to use as much counters or Events to stop your opponent's attacks.

The final card is another Event. Bad Manners Kick Course is a 0 Event Counter and the counter effect is the same as any colours. You may trash 1 card from your hand, 1 of your Leader or Character gains 3k power this battle. The trigger effect is reduce 1 of your opponent's Leader or Characters by 3k this turn. 3k is a lot, so it might come in handy in certain situations.

Deck List

OP07 Ace

Explanation

An Event heavy focus deck where we can use the card for both attack and defending, whilst also having their own purpose. But mostly, we want to discard those Events so it wouldn't matter if we ended up with too many in your hand. On the Character side, we don't really have much choices, the cards are pretty standard for a Whitebeard Pirates deck. I guess we could focus on reducing your opponent's Characters power so we could KO those Characters easily with the removals.
